Can I drive the lorry on a normal car license?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can drive the horsebox on a standard UK/EU driving license. As long as the driver is between 25-75 and has held a UK/EU driving license for 2 years.

Do I need to fill the lorry with diesel before bring it back?

Accepted Answer

Yes please. Return the lorry with a full tank of Diesel.

If the Lorry is not returned with a full tank of Diesel, the hirer will be charged for the Diesel plus 10%.

Can I cancel/change my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes we understand that peoples plans change. The sooner you get in touch to change the booking the better. 
Any cancelations within 7 days of your hire will be liable to a 50% deposit retention. 
Any cancelations within 24 hours of your hire will be liable to pay the full hire cost.

What do I do in the event of a breakdown?

Accepted Answer

First and foremost make sure you call the emergency services in the event of injury, fire or altercation.

Secondly let us know! and we can call the breakdown service if needed.

We ask that hirers take photos at the incident where necessary, and make sure you get details of other participants in the accident.

There is a pack of information in the glove compartment of the Horsebox.
